Rejoice in the Lord, for He is good! Today is Samuel’s Birthday (sorry I didn't post this when I wrote it)!!! Who said he’d never make it to a year?

Just wanted to drop everyone a note that while Samuel’s birthday is the catalyst for pondering the beauty of life and God as Creator and Sustainer, which has been the motivation behind the celebration of life, our desire is not to celebrate Samuel, but the beauty of life as image bearers of Christ. With this thought in mind we would like to ask that everyone not bring presents for Samuel. We understand that some of you may want to bring something anyway, so with this in mind we have decided to act as a donation point for the Festus Pregnancy Resource Center. I am including a list of their needs. Please do not feel obligated to bring anything; this is our concession for the family we know will persist on bringing something anyway. We eagerly look forward to seeing all of you here next week.

Pregnancy Care Center 2010 Needs List

Baby Items

Baby Furniture items such as baby beds, high chairs, etc (new and gently used)
New Baby Items such as bottles, nipples, socks, shoes, onesies, and sleepers
New Baby and Children’s Toys (no stuffed animals please )
Baby care items such as shampoo, lotion, etc.
Baby/children’s Clothes (new and gently used)
Diapers… size 5 and 6
Formula of all kinds
Wipes


Mom and Dad Items

New or Gently used Baby shower gift bags (they use them as new mommy bags)
Personal care items for Mom and Dad like shampoo, shaving cream, soap, etc.
Anything that you think Mom Dad or Baby can use!
Maternity Clothes (new and gently used)

Office Needs

Office supplies such as copy paper, folders, large mailing envelopes, toilet paper, paper towels
Computer (Hopefully newer than the one they have now!)
Cleaning supplies (bleach, toilet cleaner, Lysol)

Volunteers!!!!!!! They need volunteers in all aspects of their ministry.
